Just buy a normal evo and spend the money you would've saved on the MR and spend it on an MBC, intake, exhuast, and DP. The MR 6-speed is said to be unsure and not as proven as the evo 5 speed, so just get the normal EVO and mod it. Also, electrical differentials mean more repairs and maintainance.

I'd wait it out, spending the extra few grand for an MR will definately be worth it.

although.....

You could probably get an 03' evo dirt cheap once the MR and RS start hitting the lots.

I second that opinion, and holy christ, if the evo 8 transfer case is considered tried and tested, Mitsu's not gonna be doing so well if the rest of they're cars follow suit.

If I could have I'd have held off for the MR. Somehow I just like the idea of the AYC.

the search feature isnt that good anyways. It gets pissed if you enter a three letter word (which is good for words like" the, and, is, etc", But is not good for words like" NOS, EVO MR, RMR, HKS, etc.")

Either way, welcome to the forums and at least try and use the search before posting.

My 2 cents

P.S. I didnt know we were up to the 20k+ on the newbie member numbers. This place
