I see. Well if it floats your boat and you really think/believe you'll be happy with it, then go ahead and buy it. Personally I wouldn't, but it's not my money, it's yours, so you should spend it as you see fit.

Something to be aware of in case you don't already know, is that you can finance vehicles when buying private party too. You don't have to buy from a dealer when financing.

Don’t know if this is cool but I’m gonna post some pics of some of the other evos I’ve been considering. Feel free to nitpick anything you see wrong with these. Just trying to weigh the pros/cons

Heres the simple How-to on picture posting. EvOM has its own image hosting service

LOL, i couldnt find the post on my own. (thought it was a 9)

Hey, i would rather pick up a track day ready EvO from a member than a dealer any day. That front roll bar can be removed & you can just keep the rear section as long as you dont have rear passengers. (my EvO is very similar to this one)

Now before you buy, you should always do the full inspection (some even do a pre-purch inspection by a shop). Theres an EvO shop on O.C (shop name is 5150)

I like it!

Of course there are unicorns but you just have to accept any evo you buy was at one point making 500hp stock block haha.

more importantly than being worried about that is:

how’s compression
hows undercarriage
leakdown test
any noises from t case
if it’s near 60k or 120k does it have the big service record
who tuned it? Proof?

if you can’t get the bottom two, than that is close to 2grand I’m maintenance alone if you are not handy.

60k service and a tune.
