Warranty issue

OK, I've read all the warranty posts on this site, and i'm beginning to wonder some things. I already put a system in my Lancer and I want to put exhaust and intake in, but i got my warranty packet today and I'm worried i already voided the 10 year 100,000 mile warranty. Did I screw myself or can I get the intake and exhaust? To me the way the warranty read that everything except what mods I make are covered. Any help would be appreciated.

your audio system that you added only voids your audio warranty not your others, i'm pretty sure

call your dealer and ask em if you can add a intake and exhaust without voiding your warranty, if they say go ahead, then do it, and if they say that you can't, put them on anyway, they dont take long to put on and take them off before your checkups.

they can only viod your warranty if they can prove that some how your mod caused the problem if you ever bring it in for something that concerns the warranty.

For exaple if you bring the car in for a messed up tranny and you have intake and exhaust the cant say anything unless they can prove it was your "mods" that caused the problem.
