ok i need to know in order to remove the transmission case, does the whole tranny need to be dropped
mine cracked and is leaking gear oil by the small black square located under the housing
it is like a line on the housing, it is a long story how it happened, but i doubt mitsu will warranty so i need to know if i can just replace that hosuing or will gears and all also be located there. my buddy is a sick mechanic is ready to go when i am but i want to know wa i should do b4 hand, another budy of mine said he can weld it he is a construction worker and said if i want he can do that
any advice i would appreciate it car has 11000 cluctch is strong gears are awesome car is great except for this lil problem which is acutally huge
