Hey everyone,

New guy here. I bought a 2006 Evo IX in white brand new years ago. Loved that car. Did some modifications (exhaust, boost controller, fuel pump, intake, upper IC piping, etc.) it was tuned and made ~330 hp. It was my favorite car I’ve ever owned. Took it to the track and quarter mile a few times. Ended up selling it due to getting married, buying a house, starting a career, etc. Now that our home is almost paid off and my career grown, I am looking to buy one in the future. Obviously, I want a white IX. Just wanted to join the forum and learn from you guys about all the new things out there.

You just have to be super careful in your choice & pick one that was treated properly. You probably already know, prices are a bit on the rise

Thanks for the welcome! I am excited to get back into the Evo world. I have noticed the prices on the rise. My biggest concern is finding one that hasn’t been abused for a decent price. I am in no hurry and really won’t be ready for purchase for a little while but am starting to get a feel for the market. I look forward to all the great advice I will be able to find on the forum.

 

Welcome! I also had a WW IX MR and panic sold LOL. It was a horrible decision. Luckily, I bought another before everyone started asking BAT pricing
