Just bought a 08 wicked white Evo x gsr and already having problems. Since I got it it was only boosting 18psi then gradually got less and less. I’ve checked the intake and intercooler clamps and hoses and found nothing but haven’t been able to get underneath her to check further into it yet. I’m not sure if it’s a boost leak or an exhaust leak? I’m new to Evos so any and all help is appreciated.

How are you determining boost? Stock is approx 20-21 PSI IIRC

Being that this is a new EvO for you a proper boost leak test should be done. Of course, do a inspection yourself & you may find a loose
clamp or vacuum hose issue

Curious what mods were done. Looks like a stock FMIC?

Thank you and I’m determining my boost via Cobb accessport. I will be doing a boost leak ASAP when I can find a reputable company that’s local. Probably going to try and make my own boost leak cap/tester and try and find it myself. Mods are aem intake, Cobb downpipe with an tomei turbo back exhaust and a Cobb 3port ebc. I did feel the quake and it rolled us for a good while!
