Theres no definite answer. Members here have varied. Although, I've never heard no one go over 130.

Also, moving this to the Newbie Forum.

Theres always a rev limiter. For the Lancer, its 6,200 rpms.

The mags all say that Mitsubishi claims 154. I know it will do at least 140 with room to go, although it gets "slow to climb" at about 125...Uhh.....not me of course.......

I'm assuming your referring to the Evo VIII, correct?

Climbing 154 in the regular Lancers would be nearly an impossible feat to achieve in stock form.

yes it would be...at about 100 it is a slow climb to 120. it is possible to go a little more, about 123 or so if you are going down hill in a stock lancer

Yes, sorry about the confusion. I did mean to say speed limiter.

Well I got my lancer up to 170 km/h today on the highway and I didnt want to go any faster! It didnt feel very safe at that speed !!

Kinda OT but the fastest i've ever gone was 193 km/h in my 1986 Toyota MR2!! I thought I was gonna **** my panties

My lancer accelerates well after 100mph. Not slow at all.
My only mod is a cold air.
