12 mpg 1000cc injectors

Hey guys I'll post my fuel maps injector scaling latency and a log to help fill in pieces of the puzzle but I avg 12 mpg on my evo x MR on normal road driving I'll do a single 3rd gear pull every now and then but from the other threads on here it seems ridiculous to have that low of MPG the only thing I haven't done is check for a stuck injector. Is there any reasons that you guys know of that might explain my low MPG?

Do you have a wideband?
Is this on pump 91/93 or E85?

If your AFR is good cruising, then you should be getting reasonable mileage. If an injector was stuck, it would be rich, if it was tuned too rich, it would be rich, etc.

If I was guessing maybe you drive it harder than you think. Getting into boost often will drop you MPGs significantly. This doesn't even have to be long pulls, just accelerating to 50-60mph quickly will effect MPGs if you do it every time you take off. The other thing you could check is like tire pressure and stuff but I don't think that would explain a ~10mpg difference.

A log of cruise and a pull would be slightly helpful as well just to look for any oddities in there.

I can't access the file but I think the best advice for you would be to fill up the tank and drive it while intentionally staying out of boost and then see where the MPGs end up.

I think that trying to eliminate the variable of being in boost would be helpful to try and determine if there is a real issue or not.

I did this on my last tank and still only got according to my Acar app i use 12.6 MPG

I did try to see if this was a heavy foot problem before asking too many questions.

I took a look at the logs and didn't see anything that really stood out to me.

At this point I am kind of out of ideas. The AFRs look good and if you stayed out of boost and still got 12, I don't know what to tell ya.

No problem. Depending on the results from that tank, it might be worth talking with your tuner. I am not a tuner, just someone that has looked at a fair number of logs so I am no expert.
I would expect you to be able to get 20-ish mpgs driving nice on 91/93, thats about what my 9 will do on a road trip.

Keep the post updated, I am really curious what the issue is.
