Help! Please. 2 evolution specialists could not solve this :(

Hey guys and girls,
Can someone please help me with this issue I have with my Evo 5.
2 evolution specialists claimed to have fixed the issue but within 20 minutes of driving, it comes back.
When I step on the go pedal, it revs to 1600rpm, then drops to 1000rpm and starts pulsing between 1000 and 1600rpm with my foot still slightly on the pedal - Idle and cold start have no issues.
AFM has been cleaned then replaced with a new unit.
New emissions solenoid located just behind the plenum chamber has also been replaced.
I service this car regularly with the best parts.
New GFB Wastegate actuator running 15psi has also replaced the factory one.
The car has no mods except Airpod, exhaust and GFB actuator.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

It starts and idles normally? Does the problem occur only after you initially start the vehicle?

It starts perfectly and idles smoothly.
But as soon as you touch the accelerator pedal, it starts pulsing.
Even at cold start it will idle at 1300rpm with no issues but as soon as you attempt to drive, it starts pulsing.

Are you able to log? If so do that, then the actual smart guys here will be more able to help. As is, you give very little info.

I had a similar issue but at higher RPM, in my case a spark plug came a bit loose. I replaced all of them to be sure.

How deep are your pockets? MUTIII scanner is quite reasonably priced these days.

Thanks bro. Could you send the SKU or exact model of the scanner please. I would like to check to see if it is with my budget.

This is what you're looking at, lots of options these days, don't pay 1k for this kit from Amazon, get it off Aliexpress or wherever. Be sure if you go for it the scanner does your model! Just noticed you have a V, don't wanna waste your money.

I say go with the Openport cables and EvoScan. That will set you up for your own logging and tuning if you want.

I would say take the time to look over the entire engin.
Begin at the manifold and look for any vacuum leaks. I know this sounds trivial but its where to start.
Make sure you dont have a cracked hose to your fuel regulator and for the love of god dont have a Vac/Boot gauge attached on that line.
If you have a Vac/Boot guage, I would remove it to ensure the gauge itself is not leaking.

you can get a hand vaccum pump from a store and test all sensors to ensure they dont have an internal leak as well.

Idle issues are the bane of the fuel injected cars.
