On various vehicles I have seen on the net, many Lancer drivers who have a flip-out monitor, convert the compartment in the lower dash below the climate controls into a bay which they then place a CD/DVD player. Does anyone know if the make a kit for this, or are they all custom jobs? if so where could i purshase one

yea man fo real. No need to be a dick about it. we pretty much have the same interior as an EVO8 so it should fit jus fine. N if it doesnt then make it fit. Or jus get more money to get it custom

If you did some searches, instead of just spouting off at the mouth proving your ignorance, you'd find that people are using this kit (because of it's relatively low cost) to convert the lower compartment to the same size as stereo/gauges. Then you leave the front bezel off (with the three holes for the guages) and insert your stereo.

But I'm sure you allready knew all this; which is why you made that asenine comment. When someone attempts to help you out on a forum like this you should show some gratitude or respect. Thats just general ediquet. If you have further questions as them, you may get the answers you seek, don't just go off half cocked and start insulting people. You'll catch more flys with honey than with vinegar.

Learn to read the title. It is the install kit not gauges. It includes mounting bracket and interior piece. EVO has the same interior pieces as all other Lancers.
