Welcome to the board 21_in_az. When you get the car be sure to post up some pics for us!! Not real sure about the red car you linked to either, but it's likely he's a member of this board, so hopefully you'll get that info.

BTW, where you at in Pheonix? I used to live right by 19th and Thunderbird, across from Thunderbird High School. Pheonix is a cool place to live; I had a lot of fun out there!

I let go a an Acura RSX-S for the Evo and have never looked back. Evo is the way to go

 

That red Evo just seems to be stock but lowered and riding on 18" Volk LE-37's.

 

i live near 43rd street & greenway. the first wreck i was ever in was at 19th and greenway.....sorta close to you!?!?!

actually, that evo looks like it has an aftermarket fmic

 

i would be a little scared of buying a car after i saw the numbers on it. the evo clutch does not like drag racing but good luck with your new car

 

Yeah, 19th and Greenway wasn't too far from me at all. Used to go that way for my doctor.

Red will definately be a good color for AZ, or even yellow or white. I have a black evo now, and had a black Ford Exploder when I lived in Pheonix, and I would NEVER buy a black vehicle in AZ. You could burn the flesh off your but just leaning against it. I've never seen heat like AZ and I grew up in FLA. ;-p

Haha, OEM of aftermarket kit ? Despite what it may seem, that's actually the STOCK bumper on there. That's why many of us here don't care much for bodykits, the car looks amazing as is. Good luck on your future purchase.
OT, but my friend who has a built evo wants a TSX as a daily driver now but he is broke after spening almost 30K onhis car now! I love the TSX, your giving up a nice sedan, but inreturn your getting a beast . Now you'll be able to make fun of your little brother's SRT-4.

 

ya, the tsx is a GREAT daily driver....but thats about it. its to slow to have fun with! i want a fast car, thats why i chose the evo.

 

That's a good reason. Only downside I see about going from the TSX to the evo is the cabin, you'll go from top notch to racey and simplified. But, if your like me, you'll kinda prefer it becuase you'll know it's still quality and serves a very functional purpose.

 

oh, btw....babyburner, what is fmic?

 

ya, thats what sold me on the car in the first place, was the interior of the tsx....its so sweet and comfy.....but, no pain, no gain right? i have no problem with the inside of the evo, plus it looks MUCH better than that ****y blue color on the STI! horrible!!
