Is this Intake off ebay legit...meaning like is that i need to just buy it and put it on?? and also has anyone everbought intakes off ebay?? how well do they work?

i've have bought an intake off of ebay and it pretty good...........no problems here...

 

hey i bought a ractive one off ebay and threw it in my eclipse... it just didnt seem to run good... it sounded good, but just rpms were wierd... and they didnt ship me enough of the tube stuff.. if youre gonna get an intake on ebay.. go with a real company.. aem or injen

 

hey thanks, yeah im going to look to see if i can find an aem or injen oh here, i just saw that a sri like that is soo cheap that i would get what i paid for and it be really crappy. im kinda a noob when it comes to intake and that sort of stuff, but the stem that is sticking off the main pipe....is that for the breather or somthing else? my brother didnt use his little breather thing and i have it so i can put it on there??

Well, looking at the pic, it seems to have its ducks in a row. Comes with the MAF adapter, Filter, elbow, hoses and clamps. What more do you need?

AEM and Injen don't put extra "magic" in their intakes... or do they?

i've got a short ram similar to that with the adapter plate which is the only piece i used it sounded great and was a quick mod to do ....but since i'm entering shows i'm going to replace it with the k&n typhoon short ram

 

should i go with a sri or cai??

 

i have a sri ebay intake from makotauto trends, i recommend them, there very reliable and ship fast

it works great and i couldnt be happier with it. sounds nice and provides that little extra umph that intakes give.
