Ok what do you guys think. I can get the evo 8 for 27k NOW or I can lease a galant (GTS I beleive) for 3 years about 250 ish and then get the next gen evo when the lease is over. What do you guys think?
Under your name it says evo IX (impossible, but OK) So you want one... why not just get it. Live for today, tomorrow's too far away. Besides regardless of the TV commercial with the Camry I don't think the Galant handles anywhere near the Evo's level.

This is another one of those threads that baffles me. They arent the same kind of car so I dont see how cross-shopping works between those two cars. The galant is relatively quick for what it is but its no evo... Of course you wont be tossing clutches and the like with the galant.

Get the EVO. When we pay off the wifes OZ I dont think I will buy another Mitsu again other than an EVO. The current line up does nothing for me. Oh, and dont wait for another iteration of the EVO cause it might not be around given the current financial woes of Mitsu. So go get that EVO and never look back.
the point is, should I wait , or suck it up with hefty payments and get the evo, the cars dont have to be in the same class for the comparison, what I'm looking at is should I just get a cheaper car and wait or get it now?
All depends on your financial situation and how bad you really want an Evo. I myself had waited long enough for the car to finally make it here so when it did I "sucked"it up, as you put it, and got the Evo... I have not regreted it once and have never looked back... except to see the cars I smoked that is......
get the damn evo:P
