what is the safest speed that i can drop 2nd gear in the 04 es. my friend said 50 should be fine but i havent been going past 45 lately.

 

i see people doing 50 all the time, i dont like doing it that high because its weird getting it into gear. you should be fine as long as it doesnt grind while going into gear.

i usually dont downshift into second, only 3rd and 4th
