I have recently got a pair of autofold side mirrors from a Lancer Touring 1800cc (CS5A) and the orginal dash switch with the retracting button. I was shocked to find that my Lancer 1500 GDI (CS2A) did not come with the required socket (orginal on my car was 3 pin/wire, on the autofold mirror 5 pin/wire) and wires also on the dash control switch socket end. I went to a local accessories shop and was adviced against installing it as there was supposed to be some control circuit that obviously my car was not equipped with. We are also not sure what the addition 2 pins for the autofold mirror does (12V/-12V/GRD) ?? We are totally lost and i'm disappointed since i could not get the mirrors working. I would appreciate anyone with any information or parts and some instructions on how to go about doing this. Please help.
