Hey everyone I just bought a brand new 03 Evo today and I was wondering 1) is the break in period up to 500 miles or 1000 miles? Ive heard both but just wanted to make sure and 2) would it be ok to run my evo through a car wash, not like the cheap ones at gas stations but like at the businesses that specialize in car washing? I will have pics soon but im sure all of you are tired of stock pics anyway! Thanks

 

600mi basic break in. 1000mi before u really get on it.

uh, sure, get her washed. better yet, u live in FL, do it yourself and enjoy the shine.

 

wash it urself! dont hurt that clearcoat with those sharp and dirty car wash brushes.

and in my opinion, any professional HAND car wash should suffice
