Hey man. I did the same thing, except I only broke the speedometer. I didn't bend a spring or anything I just unseated the faceplate on the gauge for it glue that held it where it was. I took mine to the service department at my local Mistu. dealership and told them the my speedometer was sticking and i didn't know what happen. Luckly they didn't notice i broke it cause I am getting it replaced for free. Oh yeah, for you to get this fixed it is going to require a whole new intrument cluster. Your dealership can order you one (which comes from Japan) and then they have to send it off to California for calibration and things like that. So far it has been going on 3 weeks since I took mine in and I am still waiting. They said hopefully it will be back and ready to install in the next week or so. I am sure you are not going to be happy when you get the invoice from the service and parts department for this repair. I think it is going to be costly. Sorry about that buddy.

If your going to do that you might as well get the gauge face changed while your at it.
