Another New Evo Owner
Hello all!
Today, I take delivery of a black Evo, and I can't wait. I bought it on Wednesday, and I've had to wait until today to even see it.
I traded in my '01 Lexus IS300 for the Evo. I loved that car, but I'm sure that the Evo will make me forget all about it.
I'm gonna be searching and searching and PM'ing some of you for info from time to time, so be patient with me while I'm learning all about my new baby.

i got an '04 black with black leather. man, i love those leather recaros!
as soon as i saw the Evo sitting there waiting for me to drive it away, i forgot all about my lexus. the Evo is absolutely amazing. there isn't anything i don't like about the car.
is there anything i need to be wary of when driving hard or later on down the road when i decide to mod this thing?
the one thing i hated is that mitsu service is nothing like lexus service, but the car more than made up for that. i wonder if mitsubishi will get all pissy with me when i start modding my car. my lexus dealer didn't care, and i had almost every bolt-on part available on that car. i guess it's a dealer-to-dealer basis, some might care, and some might not.
anyway, i'm glad that i found this site, and i'm even more glad i have my new car.

Congrats dude, and yes I agree the leather recaros are very very nice! All I did is went and had a reasonable talk with my dealer so I knew where I stood if I modded my car and that were very truthful and explained that the only way they would deny work is if the result of what I put on caused the part to fail and other than that it would be covered. But you are correct other dealers are so good about this so the relationship can make or break your wallet.
