I was just wondering if you guys could recomend a good book to me about engines. Im talking about the bible of engine books. Heres the thing im only 17 and i dont have a dad thats a great mecanic or anything, Im looking to learn something about the engines of all cars in general. When i ask my brother it always comes down to a lecture about a mustang, so i need a more general book. There has to be something out there. Thanks

 

I learned from Sunnen's Cylinder Head and Engine Rebuild.

 

it would be better if you could find someone to actually teach you. Thats what I prefer. Still learning stuff one at a time.
