Just got an Evo!!!
I am totally not trying to ruin your fun, just looking out for you bud. But make sure you watch the oil carefully for a bit, and keep an eye out for other things such as alignment and such as I bet those first 170 miles were rough. But congrats on the deal and I'm sure nothing will go wrong, just keep an eye out to save you trouble in the future and you'll have a SWEET ride for many years to come. My buddy bought one with 425 miles on it and he hasn't had any trouble at all. Welcome!!
Just got my new white RS home!

Quick question, the first gear seems pretty tall and needs more gas and easy clutch than other cars during normal start. Does anybody have any good tips on how to get the car moving w/o frying my clutch?
Thanks.

Sweet man... I've got a red one with the shorty antenna and a Razo sticker on the back. I work at IBM in north Boulder so you may see me around. I'd like to get a meet going or something for Colorado so we can all hang out.
rsRalliArt - you'll get the hang of it. I usually blip the throttle then start releasing the clutch. I usually engage around 1200-1400 rpms on a normal start. It takes more to start because you've got AWD now so the clutch will take the brunt of the starts vs. spinning wheels on a 2wd car. It just takes practice and you'll start to get the feel of what the car likes.

If you're worried about the burnt clutch smell, don't worry about it
The new clutch will wear in and it's completely normal no matter how good a driver you are.
That said, if you don't know how to drive you'll burn the clutch out in 2 days
