I am looking to by an evo sometime soon..I test drove the car I thought I wanted,04 black with sun and sound package until I found out the 05's get the acd..How long until we get the 05 models here??The dealer I went to had a price of 33 something for the 04 with leather,40 miles, plus they insisted I get free tires for life as long as I go there for tire rotations every 5000 miles or oil change..I didn't believe the guy since it's an evo with 250$ per tire but he said no exceptions..Only thing is that I have a past history with this dealer and my Galant VR4..It was such a bad situation the told me to take my car outta there with tranny in peices and they will swallow the labor bill..Long story,they said I raced it and blah blah, I was 18 oh well..Since then I did all the work myself..What are your thoughts on buying an evo right now??I really like the idea of the acd, and I think I shoud hold off on the sun and sound pckg to save money but I like it much better..Is it unheard of to get the car with leather out the door for 33?Thats about my maximum I can spend..I plan on financing for 72 mos. which is ****ty but oh well,I have been wanting this car since I got my first GVR4..Mabye someone could tell me a place to get a good deal around the philly area, mabye below msrp??I appriciate your input and thanks in advance.

 

I'd go for whatever you can get the best deal on, which will most likely be the '04. The sun and sound package is very nice IMO. Talk them down a little more on it though, I got my black '04 with the sun and sound package for $30,624 with a $500 loyalty discount for currently owning a '99 Eclipse GSX.

I also saw a commercial with what I believe to of seen a $3,000 cash back or dealer cash, but its probably not for Evo's huh? Just like every other deal they offer. How rude

I dont think the ACD is really that special unless you plan on doing a lot of road courses, then it might come in handy. I just bought mine to play around with so I got an '04 because I got a smokin deal.

 

Thats about the same deal they gave me on the 04 s&s package..I like the acd because you can bias more power to the rear wheels for better drifting..I guess we'll see what happens.Thanks
