I have recently bought and installed a Megan Racing cat back exhaust on my Evo 8 and it did not come with a spot for the O2 sensor. I have spliced a fix kit fom Lancershop.com and the check engine light will still not go off. I'm not sure what to do. I need to be sure that this isn't going to hurt my car while I'm looking at options to get it fixed. The old O2 sensor is now trashed because of the splicing so I need to hear any suggestions as to where and when I can find an new O2 sensor cheaper than they are from Mitsu. And if anyone has any suggestions on how to get my car back to good besides going back to the stock exhaust. Thanks.
the o2 sim still need to see a signal. it does not take place of the o2. find a exhaust shop or a welder and weld in an o2 bung somewhere after the cat. and install a new o2 sensor. wire it up like in the instruction that should have came with it. if yuo need further explaining or more advice i'll shoot you my eMail.
