I have removed the Carbon Fiber wing from my evo. As TeamNeXusOz mentioned, open the trunk and look at the underside. Remove the small black plastic covers for the nuts that hold down the wing. Remove the nuts with a 10mm socket wrench. The wing is also attached to the trunk lid with a very strong double sided tape. You have to gently, but firmly, separate the wing from the trunk. You can do this by rocking the wing back and forth to get the tape to let go of its grip. The suggestions of heating the tape with a hair dryer is a good one. Using dental floss or nylon fishing line can also be used, but be aware that two bolts and one plastic peg are present on each pylon. Pull the line between the pylon and the trunk top, again helping to break the bond of the tape. With a bit of determination, the wing will come off.

After removing the wing, heat the left over glue up with a hair dryer, and use a towel to rub most of it off. After doing one side without a towel and no feeling left in my thumb, I used a towel on the other side and it went much faster. Once all the foam is removed, use goo-gone to remove the glue residue, but don't press too hard or you'll remove paint. After that, put a coat of wax on and you're good to go.
