Okay this is gonna sound stupid but I JUS WONDERING....I heard you can get fake Blow Off Valves. I heard there are ones that hook up to your intake and once they do you can get that same "ppppppppfffff" sound....if there n e thing like that that will make that sound w/o doing the whole turbo bit. REMEMBER IM JUS CURIOUS!!!

Sure there are those fake BOV options out there... Like the one plastikpyro linked.. But why would you want to do this? If you want the BOV sound, save your money and go turbo. Don't try to sound fast when you are gonna get smoked by an old lady in a WRX wagon. If you do it, then you are disgracing the Lancer and Mitsubishi.

Just save your money and go turbo, don't imitate what you don't/wish you had.

I heard there is a speaker kit or something that is wired to your tranny and every time you shift the sreaker goes "psssshhhhhht"

I only remember b/c I laughed my **** off when I heard about such a rediculous thing.

Why do you want a NA to sound like a turbo? So you can lose more races?

 

I've seen a whistle thing that attaches to the exhaust tip, so when you're driving, it sounds like a turbo spooling. Then there's this BOV speaker thing you can get to complete the whole turbo set.

Oh, and I've seen an imitation intercooler too that has pipes that lead to nowhere. If you're just going for show, and if it's something that YOU think is cool go for it. Although I wouldn't do any of these myself, I wouldn't flame someone I don't know for getting something they thought was cool.
