i got my lancer and i love it 2 death. I already got my headers, sri, and catback on. My fiancee has forbidden me to get a turbo... because ive already been in a wreck before ( damn black ice ) so i get to try to go the N/A route.

My next steps were going to be, piggyback, throttlebody, intake manifold and i guess a maf swap, and some fuel stuff, swaybars, rrms new flywheel. and some more n/a stuff.

ok so heres my delema, My fiance wants an old eclipse really bad. I like them to so its ok, i told her if we ever found a good cheep one that we would get it. well we found a 98 GS ( yeah i know its only a GS ) but it only has 40k miles, and is in great condition. She really wants it, i dnt mind either, so im thinking about selling my lancer and takeing the money to buy the eclipse with. the eclipse is $7800

Basically why im telling u guys this is b/c i want to know if its really worth it 2 go all out n/a with the lancer. I really dont want to mod the hell out of this car and then get beat by some shmuck in an Si who doesnt know what hes doin. so should i go for modding the eclipse? or stay with the Lancer?

 

It just really depends on what you want. If I were you I would stick with the lancer because there aren't as many people modding a lancer compared to an eclipse. You are going to see more eclipses out there modded than lancers these days. For power I'm not really sure, but I'm sure there are more N/A mods for the eclipse than our lancer.
