Catback Exhaust Systems

I'm trying to decide on a catback system for my 04 OZ. What are your opinions on the Magnaflow and the Greddy from RRM? Which would you recommend?

go with the JIC Magic (i think thats what its called) its full Titanium. Its badass, it was the catback i aws going to buy ...then i sold my car.

http://www.jic-magic.com/ <-- there is a link, check it out. Kind of pricey, btu i would say worth it for the sound. QtLancer (ithink is his name) has it on these boards.

I just had the magnaflow cat-back exhaust system installed in my car this past weekend and I like it. I've heard good things on both.

well, the JIC-Magic is pretty damn expensive, so if your not willing to put up some $$ then dont get it. I've heard it and it sounds damn bad ***. And looks cool as hell too. But i would say its in the 700-800$ range which is damn pricey for an exhaust.

But if u wanna stay cheaper i would reccomend the greddy.

if you have a 04 you have to get the ones made for the 04 because its 2" longer.i have a 04 es and cant find a good cat back anywhere.I called greddy and they said they will have one out in a few weeks. That was over a month ago and i havent heard or seen a thing.

i got my greddy for 460 and it retailed at like 500...the evo2 is even more, so its still gonna be an investment...id go with greddy or magnaflow unless you want something different...all i can say is from a greddy standpoint because thats all ive heard. doesn't ever sound ricey and isn't loud if thats what youor looking for. really only time it gets loud is when your gunning it and your like 4500 rpm and up

i guarantee u can get an 'extension pipe' from any hardware store etc for those 2"....just my guess.

im going buschur

www.buschurracing.com --- its WAY down at the bottom of the page on the Evo/OZ page, its fro the 02-03 but i guess will be 2" short for u i guess i dunno...anyways its a full 2.5" and everyone says it sounds DEEEEP. so im getting that and a kamikaze header/downpipe(cuz the downpipe is 2.5" and its pretty cheap, cheaper than the cat-back actually lol)

I'm not sure if the Magnaflow Cat-Back Wide Open Exhaust System will fit an 04 but thats what I have on my 03 ES and it sounds good. It was only 305 shipped at performancepeddler.com. Check out RRM and see what type of exhaust systems they have for 04's.
