We did tint, but I refuse to fork over the cash for the taillights.
Some conservative "go" mods is all I'll spring for.

Welcome ...I wish my girlfriend had the same interest in cars as you. She gives me crap sometimes about my EVO, especialy when I park a mile away from the stores in a parking lot (halla if yah hear me). I think there's nothing better than a sexy lady with a bad *** car! Enjoy your EVO8.

yeah i plan on doing stuff to it as soon as possible...i'm already looking into getting a stage 3 clutch upgrade, hks intake/bov, and other such goodies that make the car go faster. the only mod getting ready to get done in the next week or so is my indash dvd player from my celica being put in the evo (as soon as i can find a wiring harness) but i'll keep ya posted

It's hard to mod the car when there are tons of other things to do. I used to spend my money on bike mods instead of car mods because it was less cash for more speed.

Forget about getting a BOV or intake. The intake is the only one that will give any power and it is very little (0-10hp). Get a full 3" turboback exhaust and a ECU reflash. Those mods will give you a good 40-50hp gain. The Vishnu X-flash will get you 30hp by itself. Also, find yourself a good boost gauge.

BTW welcome to the board.

I used to have two bikes. I rode a Buell and a CBR.
I miss them. One was sold, one stolen.
