how do i.....
ok its monday now and ive figured out how to put my custom avitar. but they say it too big. how do make the pic smaller??

it's either the wrong format (ie. jpg, gif) or its too big... check those two things on your picture and also check the size limit where you are uploading (it should say) then you should be golden.
Don't upload them to another webspace. Attach the images from your HDD and upload them to this site. That should solve your problem. If the pics hosted elsewhere aren't on your HDD just save em and upload them again.

I think you need to make 15-16 posts first in order for the board to allow you to put your own picture up there. Until then you can only choose from amongst the canned pics. Just be a post ***** for a day and you're set.
