hey all, im new to the boards. currently i drive a 2000 Mitusbishi Eclipse, but im gonna get an evo within the next couple months. i was just wondering though, how is it for a daily driver? i am by no means wealthy, ill be working my *** to pay for this car, but damn, itll be so worth the payment if you guys have any comments or suggestions, like dont buy it because youll drive it everyday, id like to know. thanks in advance, i look forward to chatting with you all.

If you are going to be struggling from payment to payment the best advice i can give is hold off a bit. if you dont have any money to put down on the car, you're only f'ing yourself. Make sure you have good credit and enough credit; otherwise find someone who will co-sign for you. As for a daily driver...its hard to say. Alot of people find the car rough, but not really for me. You feel every nook and cranny of the road. The car is my *****. I love driving it and everytime i gas it, it puts a smilie to my face. It hugs like a baby sucking on its mother's nipples. Car is truly amazing and gets more fun with every passing minute.

Be smart in your choice and put your means before the car and not the car above your means.

i have mine, and of course it is tought do drop that much money on a car, and until the weather gets bad i will daily drive the hell out of it, but like blackevo, everytime i go to lock up the house at night, and open the garage door, i see it and laugh, had it for 2 weeks, and i cant stop smiling when i see it. holy crap it is cool. even though my work commute is about 1 mile, it makes getting groceries fun as hell. i am always looking for excuses to drive it. have YOU ridden in my new car yet? you only live once man, do it.
