Question Newb Questions

Hey all, I'm new to these forums, and I had a few questions. I'm getting a new car soon, selling my jeep and moving on up, its a great feeling. A couple of cars have been in my eyes, but I'm restricted to new or certified pre-owned. One of those cars is an Evo8. The others are a couple of m3's, 350z, and a firebird. I wanted to know how easily Evo8's are modded? Also, they have some amazing handling right? What are the stock specs, especially 0-60, 1/4 and PSI!!!!! Are they easily tuned to mid 13's? that's my goal, a mid 13's daily driver. Thanks in advance, I'd love some answer! thanks!

Searching will help answer your questions.

But here is a real abbreviated answer.

Evo's respond very well to mods, and it is already a mid 13's car from the box *depending on launch*. It can easily be a mid to low 12 sec car and still maintain daily driveability.

Yea, it handles great. The steering is much more telepathic than the other vehicles you listed.

I run 20-21 psi.

The Evo is pretty easy to mod, but take your time to do research before you mod. IMO there are a couple of decent upgrade paths, and then there is a lot of hype on the rest. If you get one, get used to the car first, then think about modding. Handling is better than any of the other vehicles listed, plus if you have to live with snow, it's got the AWD going for it.

Stock 1/4 is in the mid 13's, 0-60 is just under 5 seconds (this definitely depends hugely on how well you can launch) ... I think the fastest recorded 0-60 on the stock turbo (with other mods) to date is ~2.6. You can double-check that on Buschur's website.
