all u engine techies out there..hope that u guys can help me out a bit......my friend has a eclipse GSX....pretty damn quick car....but now he wants to make it faster....he is plannin to take out that engine and then swap it for an evo i think 6 engine from japan....i think like 3 g's just for the engine....and yes that is possible...so....newayz...he told me that he can hook me up wit his GSX engine....GREAT i thought....but then again....will it fit inside the US lancer...is it possible? around 2.0 engine range.......and then again the thought of changing it to all wheel drive also like the eclipse GSX comes to mind too....the lancer would be quick as hell then.....pushin wat...about 200+ horses?...ne comments about this? some insight?

ny, for having a member number lower than mine, I think you'd realize by now that swaps are damn hard and require copious amounts of money (several thousand at least, more than a turbo that's for sure). There's an entire damn guide to it to...

 

yeah i know wat u mean...but i dont plan on doin this now nehows...dont got the loot....just plannin on some thing that i might consider doin later on thats all....i mean a free motor is a good one

 

E6 in a GSX . . . the T-belt faces the wrong way. It's not even worth getting the E1-3, the T-belt as the GSX.
