brakes pad

hey guys. last week i install ferodos brake pads myself and i didnt get the extra pads on the oem pads. i dont know what it is called but its like a pad rubber piece taht was stuck into the old pads that i need to take it out. i was wondering if anyone have one for sell or where i can buy it at. thanks

You can get them from the dealership - I think there're called shim kit. Be specific front or rear when asking.

So there's no way of taking the shims off the old pads and transferring them onto the new ones?

Look at TIP #2. Shims can be taken off the OEM brake pads, but it'll take some effort.
