Magnaflow exhaust Q

Hey guys, I just bought a magnaflow cat back exhaust system from performance peddler(for $305) and before I put it on, I wanted to know if I have to modify the bumper so that the exhaust won't melt it cuz I know some exhausts you have to adjust it or else it'll melt the bumper. any help appreciated thanks

just dont mount the exhaust too close to the bumper. After the install take ur index finger and stick it between the exhaust and the bumper (all around the sem-circle of the bumper). If at any point ur finger doesnt fit, it's too close.

I'm gonna order mine from PP once I get me bonus check from work or somebody buys my stock 15s, whichever comes first. But my question is does the kit come with instructions and is it easy to install alone? OZ Master, when did you buy yours? I've got to get back in touch with Brad at PP too, he quoted me 330 shipped a few days ago. And you say that you got yours for $305! PEACE!!!!

Hey bens lancer I got mine like a week ago, but the reason I got it for $305 was because I remember they had a promotion going on a while back for 305 and I called to see if they still had that promotion and they said they had one left for that price so i jumped on it.

have it. love it. got it from pp too, great seller. make sure you install the resonator so that the bend is UP (hugs tighter to the car). if you put it on upside down, the tip won't hang right (it hangs high and to the right). put it on right, and the fitment is PERFECT.

magnaflow just makes great stuff. period.

whats the point in changeing the exhaust?? i figured that the stock exhaust is enough for a are small engines (i no nothing about imports lol) how much gain does changeing the exhaust give?? how big pipeing do u guys go? has anyone removed there cat? would a cutout do anything for these cars?

You feel a difference... i got a universal Magnaflow and did a 2.25 piping.... you lose a little on the low end... but you really feel it in the high end of RPM.... it just wants to go..... and the sound on a magnaflow is sooo nice.... nice and LOW... No pea shooter sound......

wow that sucks considering they have like no low end power (well on mine anyway)
i would rather gain low end and loose some high end. not going to do this but just wondering anyway, would removeing the cat do anything for performance for these engines?
