Removing LANCER Letters

I want to remove the L.A.N.C.E.R. and ES letters from my trunk. What is the process to so? What tools is needed? Someone told me one way but I want to hear what everyone thinks. Thanks

Heat it up and take it off, followed by an adhesive remover to get all the residue left by the adhesive tape.

Searchg for Debaging Trunk. There are a few how to's. Iam pretty sure a hairdryer and Glue Gone works the best.

fishing line will take the letters off just use like a sawing motion and then get adhesive remover, thats what i did

From: Currently in the digital divide.
1. you need hair dryer
2. floss or fishing line
3. goo off, goo gone
4. extension cord
5. lawn chair
6. cold suds.... i used corona, but feel free to use something diff



1. plug in cord
2. plug in hair dryer
3. grab lawn chair, place it behind the car (very important)
4. open suds
5. drink suds
6. turn on hair dryer
7. heat the letter "L"
8. feel it wobble, heat some more
9. take a long piece of floss and slowly repeat
10. continue all the way to the letter "R"
11. now, get goo gone and remove all the glue
12. drink suds
13. wash car
14. wax car
15. sit in chair and admire trunk for 3 hours while drinking the other 5 coronas



this is about as comprehensive as its gonna get...

HAHA.....best part sounds like the drinking.....that's what I thought. I knew about hair dryer to heat it up then I could just use floss. Can I get goo gone from like home depot or lowes and is that what the brand is called "goo gone" or just the name of the stuff?

Where can I buy goo gone? Also the mitsubishi symbol on the trunk I want to make it black. This may sound stupid but.......... how do I do it? How do I make it black?

1. use tape, tape everything off around the eblem
2. drink suds
3. double check everything is tape off around it so it won't get on trunk
4. drink more suds
5. grab small brush
6. dip brush in paint
7. drink suds
8. paint emblem
9. let it dry
10. 2nd coat
11. more suds
12. remove tape
13. grab the same lawn chair from 1st how to and sit down and drink the rest of the
14. enjoy shaved trunk and painted emblem
