Hi Everyone.

HI everyone I am going to "Hopefully" be getting a White EVO in the next 2-3 months. I am coming from a 2002 WRX which you can see here:http://www.cardomain.com/memberpage/420157

I then traded that in for a 350Z which I didnt like and then traded that in for my current car a Xterra SE. With all the trade-ins i mistakingly did it has all caught up to me. Luckily I found out that my friend who worked at the Nissan dealership where I got my Z and Xterra thanks to him now works at a mitsu dealership. The thing thats causing me to wait is the fact that my parents are having a house built and my Dad wants to make sure that everything goes good with there house before he helps me get the EVO.I have a few questions i hope u guys can answer. I read somwhere on this site that the EVO's have paint chip problems. I was wondering if they have fixed that problem on the newer ones? And for the guys who have white EVO's how does it deal with swirl marks, dust, dirt, and brake dust? Hi again everyone. Oh and BTW you can also find me on VIvid's forums under the same name.

The paint chips you speak of were mainly right behind the rear doors...this was solved in 04 by the factory applying a clear tape at the area affected. I drive a white 04 and have no issues with paint that I didn't have on my previous car. If you drive on the interstate, you will get rock chips on the front bumper sometimes. This is so with any car. Hand washing and drying with a chamois towel will do well to prevent swirls. Brake dust is another concern...clean your wheels frequently.
