I first would like to say this site is fantastic

Just picked up an 03 ES, finally got rid of my 91 accord!!

I am loving it, I also managed to get the dealership to put on an EVO wing, man that thing is high but it looks and rides awesome.

As a new Lancer owner I was just wondering is there anything Lancer specific I should keep an eye on in terms of Preventative Maintence.

Also is there anywhere I can go for step by step instructions and diagrams of routine maintence things like changing oil, tranny fluid, tune up etc...

Congrats on the lancer, and welcome. Nice of Centry to warn you away from OT, it's like a black hole. Maintenance though, just make sure you get your oil changed on time and get the stuff checked out as it says in the manual.

 

cool man welcome to the forums. just a little advise, at least it's my personal preferance, get a body or some kind of lip kit if you have an evo spoiler on the es. the wing is too aggressive w/o the lip imo

Try to find an OZ lip kit on the For Sale/Wanted forum. Also lowering it would make a dif. too

 

Welcome to the boards. As for the maitenance do what they said, change the oil and all that jazz. Oh and watch the paint... it's delicate and likes to chip, peel, blister, bubble and I don't know, molt off. I'd throw some wax on it pronto. Mitsu paint blows hard.
