GReddy RS bov causing engine to almost stall?

I noticed with this car, that after going into boost, the RPMS will drop 3 out of 5 times, too 500 rpms, and then bump back up to 800-1000. The bov is recirculated. Should I tighten it up a bit to see if that fixes the problem... ? or is this a completley different issue than something else? The bov flutters under partial boost, but doesnt flutter at all under full boost. LMK what you think.

i went through 5 blowoff valves to because of that problem. i thought it was because the blowoff valve was broken but turns out you have to get your ecu tuned according to the blowoff valve. i just decided to go back to the metal blowoff valve then got it tuned, works like a charm, very smooth

Did you do the spring mod? Open up the BOV and take out the smaller inside spring. Also the more tight the spring is the more boost it can handle, adjust it until the car is driveable. I am currently in the process of installing the RS, just waiting for the 1g flange adapter. I don't like hearing about all the problems you guys have had, makes me feel like I wasted some money. I hope it works alright. I didnt know you had to tune for this BOV.... someone please fill us in

I have the RS recirc. & it works better than stock IX-MR. I have both springs in also. Take a pic of you setup. I know what your describing, light clutch engagement, then slight revs and throttle, then quick release and it dips to 500 rpms with no stall...its common. I noticed it 1k into my new setup and tried endlessly to have it stall with no adval. Its not a problem, its normal, take 2 OCD pills. High 5.

This didn't used to happen to me when i had the ix plastic DV. Decided to upgrade to the metal jdm IX and im having idle issues. It wants to stall most of the time... it's really annoying..

the only thing i've changed was from plastic DV to metal DV !

Anyone have any ideas?
I do have an intake and im tuned for it, didn't happen when i had the plastic DV.
