Help with stock gauges

Hey everyone here is my issue. I purchased my 06 IX RS with 1 known issue...The factory gauge harness was cut by some theives that stole the stock stereo. Here are the gauges that I'm talking about.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

The gauge harness is 100% all white wires and it is all messed up so I can't figure out what wire goes where. I have not been able to locate a wiring diagram anywhere! This problem just drives me nuts. Any help with this would be great. If you have any questions please just ask.

Thanks

Shane

Yeah the wiring harness is cut, so only half of it is connected and the other half is not. I want to be able to use these gauges. Would a picutre of it help out any? Just figure half of the harness is cut in half and I don't want to hook the wrong wires up together.

Why didn't you tell the dealer to fix the problem? I'd take it to Mitsu and find out what you need to fix it...

Because they want to charge me and I don't feel like paying them to fix something so simple. I just need a diagram or a link to a place I can buy it unless someone has one that they don't want.

I mean the dealer you bought the car from.. When I was buying the Porsche it had a few problems. I told them I'd buy it on condition they fixed the problems. Part of the sale included a write-up contract for them being required to fix the specified problems. In your sale you should've done that with the gauges.

And then the second part was about going and asking the parts/service department what YOU need to fix the problem, or asking them for diagrams. If they won't help you, go to another dealer, if they won't help you... Next time don't buy Mitsubishi. Already Subaru has helped me work on my own problems. They even printed out the instructions for removing the factory head unit for me.

It isn't Porsche, they shouldn't require you make an appointment 3 weeks in advanced and pay 60 bucks just to ask a question and have a code scanned...

The car was a repo and I did not buy it from an acutal Mitsubishi dealer. I will stop at the dealership tonight and see if I can find what the part number is. I was just hoping someone might have one laying in a box that they were willing to part with. Not many people keep their stock gauges.

The fix

The dealership sells a a new harness called a theft harness..not all dealers know they can get them....All it is , is the radio connector and about six inches of wire....The wire are the same exact color as the harness ,,basically match the wires up and solder together....I have used a few of them ..It makes the job very easy....Let me know if cant find it, I can get you the part number,or ship one to you....

Mitsumaster you have a PM.

I went to the dealership and they said that they can not just order the harness they had to order a whole set of new gauges for $4xx! So now i'm just looking for this harness that mitsumaster speaks of.
