Ive ran Royal Purple 10 30 in my 02 OZ rally for 6 years after i built the motor on it and never had a problem once. I am running the same in my EVO X and i find it to have a better start that mobil and castrol. I only have a few upgrades though so when i do upgrade fully i'll switch to Penn...still yet to try amsoil though so who knows! i would just try it out and see what feels better for you.

I got a question I have a Evo 9 with fully stock motor and turbo the only thing I have is a greddy Ti-c cat back exhaust and the local tunning shop says to run ams oil 10w-40 but I'm trippen it might be to heavy for my stock motor. But the shop told me they use 10w-40 ams oil on all there oil changes and I'm doing my 30k mile service. What do you think. And the shop that told me are highly professionals and have the fastest Evo 9 in ca.
