Should I buy this 1000hp evo?
This Car will NOT be my daily driver but I would still like to take it out every week or so and to the track every once in a while but my real question is how reliable do you think this car is? And if it will just blow up a month after I get it... here is the mod list

yea I was going to have a shop look at It and get some compression numbers but other than that do you think this thing can even really be driven on the street or is it to aggressive? I have a 475 whp STI right now and it’s not that bad as a daily driver but ive never driven a 1000hp evo before so I’m not to sure what to expect

This car appears to have been built for the 1/2 mile. You will not be driving this on the street unless you get some work done. You should eliminate the open dumps & no way you will last on the street w/that side exhaust
It will take some work but im sure its doable
Not feeling the 34k price tag either (need more info/pics to justify)

Personal opinion. 1k hp is wayyy too much. I personally feel like 600 hp if max for the street. Anything more is just for bragging rights. I don't think u would enjoy that as much as a 500 hp to 600 hp Evo. The only thing u could do on the track with that bad boy is drag. If that's your thing and want to invest a lot of money and time in it than go for it but I also think u would be much happier if u bought a shell and built it yourself then u could get is to it at different incriments rather that just jumping behind a 1k monster.

If u are seriously interested I would give Elglish a call and talk to them about the specific car in queastio. My Evo was built by them as well from a previous owner. I called them before I purchased it and they told me a lot about it and enticed me to buy it. I have had a great car with no problems ever since. Those guys at English are super nice and knowledgeable

There is not enough room on 99% of public roads out there for 1000hp, I promise. This car was built for drag racing, but has so many high quality parts on it, it's ridiculous. If you decide to buy that car, I would step down the turbo to the fastest spooling turbo that makes around 700hp and keep it that way. At least then the car will be somewhat usable on the street and parts will break much less than with 1000hp. Also, that exedy triple disk is built for track and drag. You CAN daily it, but the center hub will wear out faster than the friction disks. It doesn't like harmonic vibration. Still not a deal breaker if you can get the numbers low enough, ER 2.2's are the cream of the crop.
I wonder how on earth that thing was able to survive on public roads with Oceanside PD rolling around...

Correct me If im wrong but I believe that used to be English racings shop car or employee car. Not 100% needless to say its quite a beautiful car with parts to match!
BUY IT LOL! who cares honestly! Drive it like it is it would be a riot. I have a fender exhaust cops just give me a smile or thumbs up but that depends on the location and if you have to emission test or whatever.

plus get ER to pull it dow to 600hp then you can track it and go for some good canyon runs, even 600 is a tad to much
