For those of you who are seriously pushing the limits of your Evo X, GSC power division's beehive spring kit with titanium retainers is an upgrade you'll want to consider! This kit includes 16 retainers and springs. The beehive spring is made from an ovate wire which has been treated with advanced material heat treatment methods for superior load loss capabilities. In addition, the springs have been nano-peened for faster break-in and reduced spring stress. The beehive springs offer the highest level of spring load retention while maintaining good fatigue throughout the life of the spring. The use of beehive springs allow for the use of a smaller, lighter retainer which leads to higher RPM and increased valve control. These are compatible with up to 12.2mm lift cams; the kit includes 16 springs and retainers.
