Tom,

I'd really like to see some dyno graphs of this new kit with a 35R so that I can compare it to the BR HTA35R kit. I would think that this kit would make more power (both horsepower and torque) than that BR kit for the following two reasons:

1. Tubular manifolds make more power than log manifolds.
2. Externally vented dump tubes enable more power than internally vented dump tubes.

What are the reasons for it not being equal length?

You are definitely correct on both of these reasons... but Buschur makes a Tubular manifold and all of buschur's kits use an external dump wastegate.. As for power. I bet this thing hauls A$$.. I would love to see dyno graphs too (: ETS has not gotten their dyno yet so the testing will have to wait.. but from the look of this kit.. I'm sure MANY people will have graphs up soon enough.. Just be patient my friend

I apologize for not being clear enough--I am comparing this kit with a 35R to the BR log-style HTA35R kit because the costs are pretty close. I know that BR makes a tubular version of their HTA kit, but that is another grand or so. So, costs being pretty close, which kit makes more power throughout the ENTIRE powerband.

What you should do is just buy one of these kits and since you like the HTA .. Just pay an extra $450 for the conversion and you will save yourself over 600 from Buschur's Tubular kit and you will have a REAL kit for a GREAT cost

how do ya'll think this ETS non-equal length tubular header will stack up against the ETS equal length in the power department?

To tell you the truth I like the Full-Race twin scroll, but I am a little biased seeing as how I run their products on my S2000.

Hmm... I just figured you were trying to save $$ considering you were comparing the difference in cost between ETS and Buschur's kit... Full Race is very expensive .. but then again they have Robots welding their **** If you like twin scroll.. ETS is going to be starting my new kit soon so I would hold off on the Full Race Twinscroll... You just wait buddy.. This is going to be a kit that is going to be the creme of the crop!

The Evo is my wife's car, and we aren't looking to spend "Full Race" money on a turbo kit for it. This ETS kit or the BR kit would do just fine. We are going to need to spend a lot of money on her Evo's drivetrain no matter which kit we go with.

This is true hehe... Go with the ETS (: and get an Exedy Twin Disk HD clutch for the power.. No need to upgrade the tranny or transfercase unless they break..

We plan on getting the Exedy twin disc HD clutch, but we aren't going to wait for the tranny or t-case to fail before upgrading them. The cost is a lot more when and if that happens. We plan on having Shep upgrade these components when we upgrade the clutch. The only weak-point from there will be the axles, which are much cheaper to replace.

Sorry for dectracting from your thread Tom. Keep building superior products!

Finally +1

The kit looks great! is it a coupler elbow for the turbo->lower ICP transition?
