intake and upper intercooler pipe question
I am currently looking at placing an order for numerous parts from ETS, but I had a real quick question. On the upper intercooler piping (one made for mini battery), do I have to have the ETS specific intake, or can I run a different brand? I currently have an AEM short ram intake, (this one specifically: http://img503.imageshack.us/img503/8427/f2901rn5.jpg) and was just wondering if there have been any customers that have had experience with this specific intake or another one not fitting? Also, I know you can flange them for a different BOV, is that flange directly welded onto the pipe? thanks for your time and clarification.
We've confirmed the AEM intake system to fit with both versions of our piping so you should have no issues
Typically we only weld flanges other than the stock tube style directly onto the piping when the intention is to vent the BOV to atmosphere as that orientation will usually require a custom recirculation solution.
