We recently had the chance to work SSP on designing a custom turbo kit for there Evolution X MR.

Performance Mods:

Turbonetics - GTK-500 (.82)
Full Blown- Fuel pump kit
Tial - 44mm external wastegate
Tial - Bov
Kelford - stage 2 cams with springs
FIC - 1100cc injectors
ETS - Tubular exhaust manifold
ETS - intake
ETS - downpipe
ETS - straight 3" single exit (no mufflers/cats)
ETS - 4" fmic
ETS - uicp
ETS - licp
SSP - 500hp clutch packs
SSP - Deep transmission pan (with temp sensor)
SSP - Pro red transmission fluid
SSP - inline sst filter
SSP - front mount transmission cooler
SSP - lightened flywheel
SSP - transmission seal kit
SSP - Teflon intake gasket kit

 

I don't know first hand, but I have read numerous times that those GTK turbos are pretty laggy for the power potential they bring to the table. Hope that's not the case!

The car now holds the record for the highest HP Evolution X MR. The car hit 450 on a mustang dyno at low boost and stock fuel pump They are now adding another fuel pump to the mix and putting in race gas to see what it does
