Evo X 2008 SST Issues
Hello,
I'm French and my English is not perfect so excuse me if I make some English mistakes .
I have an SST Evo x with 600 hp clutch kit from SSP. I drove 1300 miles without any issue.
Currently my car has some mods :
Engine :
Camshaft : GSC S1
Brian Crower Exhaust and intake valve
Connecting rods (i've forget the make sorry)
JE pistons
Sleaved bloc
Miscelanious:
Perrin exhaust
Megan Racing turbo outlet
Ams intercooler
Monster piping
Password Jdm intake
SST:
SSP Billet Aluminum Flywheel (5.7lbs, 2.6kg)
SSP Pro Series 600HP Clutch Package (10 pack)
SSP Viton Transmission Seal Package
SSP New Stainless reusable filter
SSP Pro Gold Transmission Fluid (8 liters)
AMS Transmission Cooler
After the engine break off we put also ;
Grimmspeed solenoide
1000CC deatschwerks injector (not installed for the moment)
Last time I asked my chip tuner to increase the engin idle. He tried to flash the ecu and he had an ECU bricking. The car was blocked and I could not drive until he managed to recover it.
As we tried to place all the stock mappings but it did not change anything
Now as I drive the gearbox deacreses a gear and comes back to the original gear 1 second later. For exemple, as I'm in 6th gear, the car goes alone in 5th gear for a second and comes back alone in 6th gear. You can feel it and see it on the rpm tacho. It doesn't maintains the manual gear selection mode. I can only drive auto erratic ...
I have no DTC code on my dashboard and Evoscan.
Could somebody help my ? Did somebody have the same problem ?

That looks like some sort of electrical issue. It almost looks like you have some sort of faulty wire somewhere. I would lift the center console out and make sure all of the connections are in place and properly secured. It looks to me like maybe a harness that plugs into the "gear box" itself is possibly loose, or falling out of the harness, and is just jiggleing around inside the harness.
