Comp Stage 2 HDSS vs CM FX300?

I currently have 49k on my ODO and will be getting the BBX Full installed this week. I'd rather my clutch not take a dump on the dyno after the turbo is installed so now i'm in the market for a clutch. My car is daily driven all the time, I don't autoX, and I haven't gone to a drag strip (yet) and I don't launch the car at all (0 times since i've owned the car). I do live in Houston, so traffic sucks *** most all the time.

I hope to make 400-425whp and 350-365wtq, but it could be less I doubt it would be more.

Which between the Comp Stage 2 HDSS or the CM FX300 would you recommend?

I don't think you can go wrong with either clutch setup. The Competition clutch is what we sell the most of.

How's the CCI pedal pressure? Any stock CMC issues with it yet?

Very similar to the ACT. Most of our customers grab the upgrade from Magnus or the other guys.

Well this time around I opted for the FX300, so we'll see how it does. It's all a learning experience, well at least that's what helps me sleep at night

Keep us updated on how you like it. Did you consider the new FX350 with Fiber Tough segmented material at all?

The only other option I considered was the one that drew told me about which was the FX300 disc with the FX400 pressure plate, but I didn't think I needed it for my car's power goal. I will most certainly report back how the clutch is doing, esp since I opted not to get the CMC upgrade at this time.

Sorry, totally forgot about this thread. The pedal feel is fantastic and overall I'm very happy with the clutch. It is grabbier than the stock clutch for sure, but nothing bad at all. I haven't launched my car from a stop though, not sure if I ever will. I am still on the stock CMC, knock on wood + fingers crossed + praying hard, that it continues to last and hold up like it has been doing. Overall I'm very happy with the clutch so far.
