Clutch good for 450-500tq?
Clutch good for 450-500tq?
I'm currently running 460/410 mustang numbers on a stock block bbk full etc...
I currently building a 2.3L with green or bbk b setup and i want to know whats out there that can handle that torque?
I'm currently onl a CM FX300 and I know it will not hold it.
The car is street driven maybe 2 or 3 days a week and does road racing only.
I don't like twin plates because of the noise but I've been looking at a
Carbonetic Twin and QM 8 Leg.
Id prefer a single plate if possible but I don't know of any driver friendly ones available.
Thanks in advance.

^+1 a comp stage 2 or 3 will be perfect for your setup.
I just wouldn't get one of their twin discs. My friend (Svendiesel on here) had one and their discs weren't flat and caused his clutch to drag making him need another trans rebuild :/

QM 8 leg for race, my dream clutch aside from a Tilton. Competition Clutch stage 4 would be a reliable cheap clutch that is rated for 500-600ft lbs of torque and shouldnt run you more than $500 the best part is they are local to us in San Jose!
