Just curious, why is there a silver car that was allowed to participate. If I read it correctly, when the admin stated the contest would be open to other cars colors. I felt it was clearly for future months. The rules stated specifically white cars only. And I don't see how fair it is if the rules got changed mid way. Btw no offense to the owner of the Silver car is a nice car but something must be said about clarification of the rules. I for one would have loved to enter my car, but one look at the rules and I knew I just had to be patient and wait as I also have a silver car. Thanks in advance.

 

Yeah...the way eveything was worded wasnt clear. I had already done all this work to type all of this stuff and they never really clarified, and then i saw that they included it...i dunno...

I understood there was some confusion and did not want to penalize you so I 'adjusted' the rule a wee bit to allow your car which is 'nearly white'. Everyone will have a chance to enter as the months go by.

If you bend the rules for one then you need to do so for all! Its not really fair for the people who followed the rules to run against someone who didnt.
Does that mean when the Cosmic Blue COTM thread comes up I can enter my black car because its "nearly blue"?! You should have just told him its for white cars and to wait to post til Silver is the monthly contest IMO.

Just saying....I wouldnt be happy if I followed the rules and someone else who got let through ended up winning when the contest was for white cars. Since Im not in it this month i dont really care, its just not fair for those who are thats all.

If you want a suggestion for color next it should be black. There are plenty of black cars around to post up.

Suggestion for the future, maybe post a thumbnail of each car next to the link to the thread so that after looking at the entries you can do a quick glance to make sure you have the right car. Thx.
