Hey guys, I know many of the board members have in writing that they will be sold the car at MSRP, but I was wondering if any of those dealers are around the NJ area. I have been calling dealers asking for pricing and availability. I just heard from Bell Mitsubishi in RAHWAY, NJ that they will be getting 2 in this month, and 2 early next month, but when I started asking about pricing he went in the story about how most are charging $5000 over and that they will only be charging $3000 over. He didn't even know the MSRP, but just said that unlike the other dealers, we will probably be asking only $3000 over. I told him to take my name of his calling list because I will find it for MSRP. He said GOOD LUCK TO YOU and he basically implied that no one will get the car for MSRP, and couldn't even really believe me when I told him many people have it in writing that they will get the car for MSRP.

Start calling outside of the NJ/NY/CT area, you will have better luck.

 

try bell south mitsubishi on rt 9 N in sayreville, thats where i got mine and they had maybe 4 or 5 evo's... and i believe they were about 34 grand

 

I put a desposit at MSRP in queens. I'm supposed to pick up this week, when I'm there I'll ask if they have any more at MSRP and will post if they tried to play games even with the contract.

i'm getting my '05 from bell on rt. 1 in rahway at just below MSRP. ask for mike jafar or the other mike (sales manager). tell them that you know Ray Lee and they'll help you out.

i thought you meant the GSR, not the MR. As far as I know, they ARE marking up the MR, but I'm getting the GSR for just under MSRP, i'll show you the paperwork if you don't believe me.

 

a msrp evo mr will still get u out the door 38 grand..might as well take the mark up

 

NO way will i take the mark up, that 3000 mark up can pay for my sound system, and winter rims/tires....
I refuse any markup because if i was able to do it before with my s2000, i can do it with this car....
