Why does it seem like every dealer has its own explaination I dont even know who to listen to anymore.....sighhhhhhhh

but since you got the MR already...i guess ur right
The reason dealer 1 says it is a couple days after that day is that once it leaves the port it takes anywhere from 2 days to 1 week to arrive at the dealership depending on wether it is trucked in or railed in, and of course how far from port the dealership is. As for dealer 2 if the date was the day it left Japan it would take 2-3 weeks from that date to get a car here between boat time and clearing customs through to trucking to the dealer. In some cases it takes even longer than that.

Derek,

It was actually going out to the stores owner, he takes one as a demo vehicle, and didn't get on it, tach never saw past 5500. The cars we have availible, have 10-20 miles on them. Most hit the ground with between 7 and 9, then we do the safety inspection and drive to make sure everything works right. We're down to one available MR now. Just sold one to another CA resident, he's flying in tomorrow to pick up. We probably will only see maybe 1-2 more for the rest of the year based on the number we already got.

But next to Dealer 2's link it said Cleared/Customs so doesn't that mean its already cleared us customs?

They were gettin 3 MR's in total 2 cleared/customs, 1 was QR-Manifested...dont know what that means
